Fitness assessment - 1 hour

Includes: health history questionnaire, liability, nutritional history information, blood pressure, resting heart rate, body girth measurements, discussion of fitness goals, review personal training policy, and pricing information

Personal training

  • ½ hour
    • $35 at my home studio
    • $40 at your home

Purchase 5 or more 1 hour sessions for $60 each ($70 at your home)
Purchase 10 or more 1 hour sessions for $55 each ($65 at your home)

Locations further than ½ hour, using MapQuest, add an additional $10 per ½ hour of drive time.

Group Training

  • First person pays full price
  • Second person pays ½ price for one hour session

Each person will have different needs and goals. Personal training should be considered ongoing for several months to see the greatest benefits. It takes 21 days for something to become a habit, exercising regularly always seems to take longer. Believe in yourself. Be accountable. Hire a personal trainer!

Osteoporosis Workshop

Do you have Osteoporosis or maybe osteopenia? Has your Doctor said you have low bone density? Is there a history of osteoporosis in your family? Then this workshop is for you!

Join me in a workshop that will enable you to learn more about osteoporosis, understand what movements are safe to perform, how to prevent further bone fractures, improve your muscular strength and balance safely, improve your posture, and pick up a few tips about nutrition to help improve your bone density.

This course is offered in two, two-hour sessions. The first session is education and self- testing to help enhance your knowledge of osteoporosis. The second session is focused on the exercise and movements that are safe for your body.

Leave this workshop with a better understanding of osteoporosis, how to manage your daily activities, and take home a safe exercise routine to help build bone density.

Participants will need to be able to get onto the floor lying on their back. Exercises can be modified for some ailments or issues. Please speak to Cindy directly.

All participants will receive an exercise band to take home with them, as well as a booklet full of educational handouts including pictures of safe exercises.

Boot Camp

Boot camp style group fitness class offers participants of all fitness levels an opportunity to work their cardiovascular systems and get a full body strength workout within one hour while enjoying time outside.

Each class begins with a warm up consisting of squats, walking lunges, and push ups to increase the heart rate and increase the blood flow to the large muscles. The warm up can last anywhere from 5-7 minutes depending on the temperature outside and individual fitness levels.

The main part of the boot camp class involves challenging multi-functional exercises like squats and overhead shoulder presses to engage more muscles and core abdominals. Participants will receive one on one instruction including proper exercise technique, form, and injury prevention or modified movements. The class will vary in format each time to stimulate muscles and avoid boredom. Each activity or exercise is tailored to the individual fitness levels of participants.

The conclusion of the class consists of a cardiovascular cool down with some walking or easy jogging and a focus on flexibility exercises and stretches. The class will continue rain or shine. In the case of severe weather an alternate date for a make up class will be chosen or an additional class will be added at the end of the session.
